Hare & Tortoise ride again! Either side of Christmas, my dynamic duo will be action in two new productions at Buxton Opera House and The New Wolsey, Ipswich. Hurrah! 

This year, with the lovely Damn Cheek company, I did some workshops in Gateshead primary schools, hopefully leading to a new play in 2024. Fingers crossed. Fingersmiths is (are?) developing a tri-lingual (BSL/English/Hindi) version of How High is Up? for a national tour in 2024. Watch this space.

Had a great (if intense!) time back in July 2023, teaching approaches to character, and acting in Chekhov's plays at this year's Luxembourg European Annual Theatre Summer School. Great fun.

In other news... 

Just working on Chekhov’s Ivanov – which will complete my idiomatic versions of his major (un-revised) plays. Finally!

The odd day’s teaching-cover at ICTheatre Brighton but otherwise, a spot of gardening, lots of caring duties and a slow (but not unhappy) descent into my twilight years. And breathe…
