I trained as an actor at Drama Studio London, graduated in 1979 and went on to work in fringe, regional rep, young people’s theatre and commercial touring for about ten years. There was the odd bit of TV in there too. In 1989 I stopped acting to concentrate on my work as a writer, director and teacher and then some years as a carer prevented any thought of return. Recently however, life changes have meant I can once again make myself available for acting work. So there’s been a big break (30 years!) but here are some of my more notable credits.
